This poem was written when I was in the 8th grade and was probably one of the better ones at that age. I still consider it to be a really good poem.

What is love?
Love is something you share
With someone you really truly love.
Love isn?t justabout sex or
Just about going out together.
Love is something that is meaningful.
It is not meant to fool around with.
Love is when two are
Brought together by feelings and emotions.
They sometimes get a cling when
They think they are in love.
But it is the feelings and the emotions
That they share that causes that cling.
Love is something that you
Can never resist.
Because when your feelings and emotions
Build up inside they will just burst
And you will not be able to keep them a secret.
What is the meaning of love?
It is to feel a passion, devotion,
Or tenderness for someone.
It is unselfish and benevolent
Concern for another.
When you love someone
It just hits you right on the head.
Then thoughts in your mind say
If you have feelings for that person
Then just go up and tell that
Certain person how you feel.

All I have to tell you is
Tell someone really special to you
How much you really truly love them.
